BE FISHERS OF MEN! YOU CATCH ‘EM … HE’LL CLEAN ‘EM We are very excited about our VBS this year. Our program “Galilee by the Sea” starts at 9:00 thru 11:30 a.m. We are going back in history. Your
children can walk through the streets of Galilee, without even leaving
town! We want them to learn by seeing, touching, tasting and feeling
what it was like back in the day of Jesus. We will learn songs, play
games, and even make crafts like they did back then. Our village shops
will include a carpenter shop, jewelry and sandal maker, baker, fisherman
and rope maker and clothing shop where your kids can get their picture
taken dressed in the clothes of the day. We want the Bible to come alive
for them, and help them get to know Jesus better. We want them to learn
what it means to live for
We also offer a mom's class this year, so moms can enjoy a bit of R and R while their children are occupied. We have plans for interesting classes, as well as coffee breaks to just relax.
We plan a closing program and a light informal supper at night, on Friday, starting at 5:30, so you don’t have to worry about making supper that night! After our program, we will have your kids participate in the toy boat race outside, under the stars. Sure hope you can join us! We are looking forward to meeting you! |
