Brief Denominational History

We are part of what was formerly known as "The Dutch Reformed Church" which originated in The Netherlands during The Reformation era of 500 years ago.  Today, our denomination is known as the Reformed Church in America.

Brief History of Second Reformed Church

Second (the second Reformed Church to be officially established in Paterson and Wyckoff) Reformed Church was established in Paterson, NJ in 1827.  The congregation moved to 475 Lafayette Ave, in Wyckoff in 1958 and took occupancy of a colonial style sanctuary which seats 400 people.  In 1964, a colonial style educational facility was built which consists of classrooms, nursery, library, youth room, and church offices.  Two church owned parsonages, the church facility, and parking lot, sit on over six acres of land.
